Michi-no-eki Ebino is a roadside station next to the Ebino IC on the Kyushu Expressway, a key point for travel between Miyazaki, Kumamoto, and Kagoshima. It bustles with local people as well as tourists visiting Kirishima and the Ebino Plateau.
In the Yui no Ichi market, you’ll find rows of fresh local Ebino vegetables and fruit harvested that morning. It also offers rows of meat, including premium brand Miyazaki-gyu beef—something unique to Ebino, with its thriving livestock breeding.
In the Ebinocco food hall, which focuses on local foods, you can enjoy their vaunted all-you-can eat lunch buffet, carefully made with seasonal ingredients from Ebino. It's a very popular way to easily taste the delicious and plentiful variety of dishes. There’s also a service that prepares Miyazaki-gyu steak bought in the meat area. And don't miss the extraordinary ice cream made using “tamatama,” fully ripe kumquat grown in Ebino. This is a very popular option from Light Meal Chaippe, which sells over 300 of them a day. Ebino is also the location of a Self Defense Force base, so the roadside station also sells SDF goods. 
Treat yourself to Ebino’s “yokamon” (“good things” in the local dialect) with views of the rural landscape and magnificent Kirishima Mountains of the Kirishima-Kinkowan National Park.

You’ll also find Outdoor Station Ebino on the roadside station site. This facility introduces experiences and activities, and also rents bicycles. Make the most of activities such as trekking, cycling, camping, ice skating, and SUP in the lush natural world of Ebino City.
