Kodomo no Kuni is located very close to Aoshima, and consists of a huge park with an athletics area, park golf course, botanical garden, and more.
The park was opened in 1939, and this historic facility—which has also been an amusement park—launched the Kodomo no Kuni Build Up Project in 2023. Following on from the conventional park golf course and the rose gardens (botanical garden), the park opened the AOSHIMA PICNIC CLUB, a facility complex incorporating various elements including sports, relaxation, business, and outdoor experiences. A shop, restaurant, and activities that make the most of Aoshima’s natural world have also appeared, one after another!
A forest camping area with an expanse of beech trees pre-opened in late April 2024, enabling visitors to enjoy camping without the need to bring anything
A beachside camping area opened in the summer of 2024. The park is also preparing an autocamping site and a tent site without assigned pitches.
Kodomo no Kuni is the new, improved form of a park that can be enjoyed not only by children who like being active, but also by adults. We hope you will have fun here with your family.
