Kannon Sakura no Sato Hot Springs

Enjoy cherry blossoms, the outdoors, and hot springs all in once place

You can enjoy a great variety of 13 baths and saunas, including an open air bath, in this hot spring facility. Kannon Sakura no Sato is located in Kannonike Park in Takajo Town, famous for its cherry blossoms, and is an easy visit after you’ve had your fill of fun.
The water here is a simple alkaline hot spring, said to beautify bathers. It's effective for skin beautification, neuralgia, myalgia, and other ailments. The extensive bathing facilities include a denkiburo (bath with a mild electric current) and a walking bath, and you can also make use of a nursing care bath or welfare bath if you make a reservation.

The indoor hot spring pool has waterslides and a pool for young children, making it popular with families as a place to play all year round. The store in the main building sells local vegetables and hand-made pre-prepared dishes, as well as processed goods, coffee, and more. We recommend unwinding and relaxing in the reception hall.

In addition to hot springs, the huge Kannonike Park holds plenty of play equipment and facilities for all-day fun, including boats, go-karts, a lift, a grass skiing area, and a camping site. It also boasts Miyazaki Prefecture’s only Ferris wheel and the longest slide in Kyushu—on fine days, you can see sweeping views of the Kirishima Mountains.
Around 5,000 cherry trees bloom in the park in the spring, and it is thronged with large numbers of people using it as a flower-viewing spot. Make sure you visit with your family.
