Aya Equestrian Park

With a large flower clock as its symbol, this is a place where you can encounter flowers and horses

Aya Town lies almost in the center of Miyazaki Prefecture, and holds one of Japan’s greatest expanses of laurel forest. Aya Equestrian Park is a horse-riding club in Aya, run by the town, which was a long-time horse breeding area.
Everyone from beginners to advanced riders can enjoy a wide range of horse riding here— Aya Equestrian Park offers experiences leading thoroughbreds and ponies, casual riding experiences, and even full-fledged riding for experienced riders. We recommend the cute ponies for elementary school students and younger children.
The huge flower clock, 28 meters in diameter and colored by seasonal flowers, is more than worth seeing. It's the symbol of Aya Equestrian Park. There’s also a lawn area and play equipment that is popular among children, so you and your family can spend a relaxing time here looking at the seasonal flowers and horses amid a natural world.
This facility is also known as a famous spot for cherry blossoms, and in the spring the whole park is dyed light pink by the blossoms. The Aya Horse Races (local races) are held here in the fall, with races for thoroughbreds and ponies. This is an exciting event attended by more than 10,000 horse-racing fans.
