The total number of votes cast was 13,385!!

Starting on October 1st 2016, the voting on Miyazaki prefectures recommended dishes was held over a month. The number of votes were limited to one per person, and voting booths were erected at the prefectural municipal office and at a large shopping mall. Votes were also collected online, by fax etc. As a result, there were a total of 13,385 votes.
